Week 10 (May 30)

We had finished our stage 2 presentation yesterday. Gerry did not believed vacuum pump i founded suitable for use in our project. So i need to research more information and suitable vacuum pump to install in our vehicle.

However, with today’s advanced engine technologies (i.e. downsizing) or under certain operating conditions (i.e. cold start/engine warm-up phase), the vacuum provided by the engine is no longer sufficient. Furthermore, advanced engine technologies, such as electric or hybrid vehicles, are not capable of generating any vacuum pressure.
